On this blessed day of October 14, the feast of Saint Paraskeva, our protector Saint, we lift a prayerful and humble appreciation for your ongoing love and support to our mission. In spite of major challenges in personal lives and around the world, Saint Paraskeva Orthodox Charity continued to be faithful and successful in offering relief to over 3,000 underprivileged Romanian children. Our response to local needs increases every year, thanks to your generous support. Thus, by God’s grace and through the intercession prayers of Saint Paraskeva, in the first three quarters of 2021, SPOC released 35 grants, totaling $157,863.74 representing financial support to over 3000 children in the most needy area of Romania. This financial relief targeted urgent needs in children’s education, food supply, clothing, medical assistance, sheltering, orphanage costs and much more.
Every contribution you make to Saint Paraskeva Orthodox Charity is a candle of light against the darkness of poverty that envelops our world. When you donate to our organization you help create bundles of candles, capable of lighting even the darkest corners for many children from our beloved Romania.
