Site Progress to Date

The Romania for Life association has pro-life activities which offer substantial support in helping pregnant women with high abortion risk and those needing financial support during the first few months after giving birth. The association organizes an annual event named ​“The March for Life” in over 900 cities ​in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The Association works together with The Saint Alexandra Empress Center and The Saint Helen Empress Center in Bucharest.

In 2019, ​10,000 youth ​promoted pro-life activities at “The March for Life” and more than ​150 pregnant women with abortion risk were helped at the Saint Alexandra Empress Center in Bucharest. Over the past 5 years, the association has been helping over 1,000 pregnant women and supporting single mothers in need.

SPOC Contributions

A total of $43,700 has been granted to the association starting in 2019 until October of 2022. The financial support has been granted towards the printing expenses with magazines and other promoting materials for “The March for Life,” for helping women facing pregnancy crises, for purchase of birth kit aid for pregnant women, for food and hygiene supplies for single mothers and for publishing costs of books which provides emotional support for women facing unexpected pregnancies.
