First holiday of the winter season brings such joy to everybody, but specially to the kids! They will put their shoes outside the door and wait with excitement for Saint Nicholas to fill them up with candies and little presents. Saint Nicholas, celebrated on December 6, is a candid, joyful holiday for everybody.
Unfortunately for many children and adults from the villages near Rasca, Romania not only they don’t have anything to put in their children shoes, but they don’t have sufficient or shoes at all. This year let’s start the most beautiful time of the year by giving with kindness and love to those less fortunate. Let’s all clean our closets for things we don’t use anymore, but specially shoes. Let’s collect 10.000 pairs of shoes and send them to Rasca to father Andrei so he can cover the bare feet of the poor. Boots, sport shoes , sandals for children and adults, any shoes in good condition, we collect them all.
And if you want to put some candies or non perishable food in those shoes I know nobody will mind. Don’t forget It takes so little to bring great joy! Thank you and God bless!
